Just checked out the new Hulk trailer… it’s pretty neat. Shot in Toronto, it’s got some local landmarks IN the trailer… Sam the Record Man, a landmark which recently closed, and Zanzibar- a seedy strip joint.
The trailer itself is pretty damn good- looks like a fun little superhero special effects extravaganza, filled with green cheddar cheese and Edward Norton at his best. Check it out.
And also, a note to all filmmakers and video-makers:

Looks… lucrative… but I always hate whenever any contest takes public opinion (friends)- there’s always some jack-ass out there who spends more time then me making “cyber-friends”… at least this is 25%, or I’d give up. When the Macbeth 3000 Trailer screened on CBC Exposure, the producers had contacted us even though there were only a few hundred views on the video. Anyone can put “Paris Hilton” in the video title or troll facebook, myspace and internet forums to get video views… I’d rather the content be judged on merits of a human review as opposed to a hit counter… but like I said, 25% I can deal with… so take a look and sign up if interested. I would love to be in those top three, so we’ll see what we’ll see then. I can’t seem to open up the rules or the terms and conditions, but as soon as I get a chance to check out what’s buried in there, I’ll probably end up submitting something. Why not?
