The MB3K Website

Over 3 years of filming Macbeth 3000, and just as much time sorting through over 60 hours of raw footage, Supergun Cinema is proud to bring you the story of how 5 Canadian teenagers somehow pulled-off an action comedy version of Shakespeare's most villainous play.

In this feature length documentary including interviews with main cast and crew, outtakes, deleted scenes, bloopers, special effects tests, and the wacky hi-jinks that go on when the young are inspired by substances in their parent's locked cabinets.

"Other"

During the Youngcuts Film Festival there was a contest to make a commercial for Pepsi. Logan, Bill and Bohren set out to make two commercials and Geoff did the final edits.

Needless to say they were both rejected from the competition. Perhaps due to racy content? Perhaps due to lack of quality morals? We don't know, or care- but you can see them here and decide for yourselves. Just remember, this in no way is affiliated with Pepsi.

A second competition was held next year, and our own Dennis Logan submitted his own little "video" to Pepsi, which was also rejected due to excessive "looser-ville-ness".

With too much time on their hands, Bill and Denis chronicle the ancient journey of the teacher and the teachee as the unwitting student struggles to comprehend life in order to get a government job. Something like that.

Celebrity Endorsements

When asked for a quote for the cover of Macbeth 3000, Bruce Campbell became very agitated, wildly cursing in Latin. He later commented "Bullshit! I'm not giving you [guys] any quotes!" Then he had THIS to say before a flock of bees interrupted the séance. Just kidding. It was a book signing, and Bruce was just kidding around... or so we think...

Director Terry Gilliam endorses Supergun Cinema's first feature, Macbeth 3000, under threat of certain doom. We met Terry after a Q&A about Tideland at a Ryerson event. He was kind enough to sign some DVDs and give us this wicked video.

Matthew Good (Canadian  Rock Icon, Human rights activist, avid blogger and witty bastard) accepts a "bribe" in return for a promotion for a film that has since been put in the past: The Future (the horrible, horrible future).
