Makers of some mean special effects programs, they also host a nice little board in which one can post and view films. Go on in and see the various Supergun paraphernalia we have posted. Buy the program then give us a higher rating. Do whatever you like, just leave me alone. The latest program, Visionlab is a beacon of hope for independent special effects wizards.
Youngcuts Teen Film Festival
Showcased the first festival screening of Macbeth 3000 in Fall 2005. Formerly HILTZ. They commonly run filmmaking contests for young filmmakers, eg. Commercials, Mobile Movies, etc. A very indie-friendly festival with a good staff.
Toronto Film Challenge
The reason Orange Crush exists. They run a 24 and 48 hour film challenge annually in Toronto. You and your crew get a bag with a list of necessary props, costumes, locations, themes and characters, and you have the next 24 hours to write, shoot, edit and hand in your film. Screenings usually happen at the Bloor Cinema.
Wreck-Beach Film Festival
Run by "The Captain" in the town of Innisfil, this Ontario film festival is outdoors and features live music as well as a plethora of diverse independent films.
The Captain knows how to provide for a party: 40ft outdoor screen, Rocket-Tron projection technology, Tiki bar, raised pool, simulated beach, campgrounds, golf course next door and more! Read all about it in the 2005 Wreck Beach Festival Review.
Bophe - Film production, music, lyrics- Bophe is a creative machine!
Scope-Films - The very own website of Kirill Kripak, another Toronto based Indie-film company. Kirill specializes in cinematography, directing, scoring, and editing. Known as "Cypher" on Fxhome. Kirill teamed up with Supergun for Orange Crush and Bloody Hell.
Dunspinning - Kevin Dunlop, specializing in Audio recording, as well as being a musician, actor, and bartender. Also our man on Bloody Hell and Orange Crush.
Enhorse Productions - A production company that specializes in: Film, Music, Graphic Design, Web Design and Script writing.
AmerAsian Films - Filmmakers focusing on Asian-American relationships, cultural, ethical, and generational challenges, and the love we all share for Baseball.
Revelation- the movie - A movie from SirLaosson Dara. (In production)
Steven Richards - A "hobbyist" filmmaker from Orange County. Maker of the classics "Trunk Fiction" and "Of Consequence".
George and Me - A documentary from the makers of Inside Report about the cultural influence of Star Wars, featuring the hit fan-film Revelations.
